The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil Review

March 21, 2014

Hello everyone, remember I had a severe allergy reaction last month? That was a serious nightmare, I'd tell you that. I did all kinds of things to make my face better. I even went to the dermatologist. I completely stopped applying any products that I used to apply on my face. The only thing that ever worked for me was The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil. I still use it everyday, as it prevent acne from forming.

It comes in a bottle with a cap. The cap is difficult to remove, where it had to be pressed from the top while removing it. It's a good thing since it won't have accidental spills while travelling.

Application

For blemishes, apply a small amount directly onto blemishes using a clean cotton wool bud or your fingertip. I will usually tap 1 drop of oil in each part of my cheek after applying toner using my fingertips.

My Impression

For Acne
At first, it did a great job by reducing my horrible cystic acne, redness and the swell on my face. Since it has anti-bacterial properties, it actually prevents cystic acne from growing like a bunch of mushroom after rain. It is also feels great on my skin, it absorbs well into my skin well without having feeling any stickiness or oiliness in my skin. You know, I would always stay away from the word ‘oil’ due to my combination skin, but tea tree oil doesn't give the 'oil' effect. Another thing is compared to other acne product, this product doesn't dry up my skin which is a plus point.

For Dandruff
As you know, tea tree oil have countless of uses. Treating dandruff was one of them. I tried so many things to get rid of dandruff, but this oil really worked. The best part is I only applied some drops on my scalp and massage it once after I took my bath. And the dandruff is gone, forever. :D
