The Body Shop Vitamin E Moisture Cream Review

January 13, 2015

So hey! The Body Shop Malaysia was giving away free Vitamin E Moisture Cream and I had to grab onto of these!

Basic Information

Net Weight: 15 ml (0.5 OZ)
Product of: UK
Suitable for: Normal skin

Product Description

  • The antioxidant power of vitamin E in this moisture cream helps prevent premature aging and damage from free radicals when used as part of your daily skin care regime, protecting your skin’s future.
  • An easily absorbed daily moisturising cream that has the lightness of a lotion with the moisturising benefits of a cream.
  • It helps protect the skin, leaving it feeling soft, smooth and healthy-looking.
  • Vitamin E conditions, nourishes, and protects the skin, leaving it soft, smooth, and healthy.
  • Lanolin is one of nature's richest moisturisers.
  • Sorbitol is a water soluble moisturiser that enriches foam and lather.

Packaging

It comes in a small jar. Again, it's sort of unhygienic.

Ingredients

Aqua, Isopropyl Palmitate, Sorbitol, Lanolin, Glyceryl Stearate, Cetyl Esters, Steareth-2, PEG-100 Stearate, Ceresin, Triethanolamine, Tocopheryl Acetate, Steareth-20, Carbomer, Methylparaben, Parfum, Benzyl Benzoate, Butylparaben, Ethylparaben, Hydroxycitronellal, Isobutylparaben, Propylparaben, Limonene, Geraniol, Linalool, Citronellol, Cinnamyl Alcohol, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, CI 14700.

Texture & Fragrance

It has somewhat perfume scent, but I'm not sure what it is. It is really watery and it dissolves like water on my skin. The product absorbs really fast onto skin.

Application

Apply to the face and neck after cleansing and toning, using your fingertips.

My Impression

Okay, this is supposed to be used on dry skin. I have combination skin. I got this from The Body Shop for free when they were giving a giveaway :D. This works well on my skin. It is moisturising enough for my dry parts on my skin. It's great and all but I don't like the strong perfume scent. Well, it doesn't break me out. I'm not sure though if it will suit oily skinned folks as I noticed my T-Zone is little oilier than before.
